GMC Syclone truck Kills 03 Cobra Mustang

My Syclone has a stock bottom end with Vortec heads, a 218* cam, a PT51 turbo, built 700R4 tranny, and 93 octane fuel with alcohol injection (20 PSI). Full weight full accessories (cold A/C) 100% STREET truck on all season radials.

My best time this day was 11.45 @ 117.8 MPH with 1.68 60'.

Thanks man , yea I thought they had the same motors as grand Nashs . Unless GNS is 4.3 too but I thought they were 3.8's . Is that your truck in the VIDEO either way those things are street sweepers . My friend had a mint cyclone couple years back nothing could touch it I mean nothin . Hell yea dude thankx!!

Yeah a lot of people make the mistake of thinking the Syclone/Typhoon has the GN motor. However the 3.8 is a Buick motor and the 4.3 is a Chevy and they share absolutely nothing in common.

The 4.3 is heavily based on the SBC 350 and shares many parts.

@hpkntnw Awhile back they made a truck called the lightning bolt which was a ranger with the motor and trans and ofcourse the supercharger from a svt lightning. Ita hade 345 tires in the rear and was rwd. Svt ran it a few times down the drag strip but the truck never went into production. It still is the fastest factory truck made from ford. It was 1200 lbs lighter then the lightning.
