i work at a mazda dealership, have done maintinance on the rx7 the rx8 and all the mx series cars, the rx7 is the most fun to drive but the rx8 is more composed as a road car

I do basic maintenance on all my cars, I've been changing spark plugs, ignition wires, oil and filter etc. on my 1993 Mazda mx3, 02 protege5, 04 tacoma. All this cars have never given me problems like the rx8. The real problem is the rotary engine.

@Merkurio24 Transmission is going because you bought it for you wife hahahaha. Also if you learned about your car and knew how to do some things your self you would not spend that 2000. My guess is you had the money went out bought her a car and complained when things go wrong because you do not know regular maintenance on the car.

This is the car i bought my wife as a birthday present. I like the cars handling and looks but so far its been more in the shop than on the road at a cost of $2000 in less than 6 months!!! The car has only 37,000 miles an I think the transmission is going too!! What a disappointment :(
