2009 Uptown CCMA Gift Lounge - fiveleft leather

fiveleft leather was a proud sponsor of The Uptown GiftBox Company's 2009 CCMA Gift Lounge. This private, invitation-only VIP event was held backstage at General Motors Place in Vancouver on Sep 13th, 2009, and was an all-out smash! Celebrities, artists, media and special guests were treated like superstars in a West-Coast-style lounge setting. A celebration of this year's Canadian Country Music Awards nominees, performers, hosts and presenters, guests mingled and sampled amazing products by local artisans and hot brands, most of which were Canadian-made.

fiveleft leather goods marry sleek modernism with rugged saddlery tradition. Owner lincoln heller brings these contrary esthetics together by hammering found objects into leather and dying it to produce fivelefts stunning colour pallet.

To pay for art school lincoln worked in an Alaskan logging camp, where he began working with leather by making tool pouches from discarded boots. Upon returning to Vancouver B.C. he began building custom bags for men based on one of his own creations. Now, lincoln has developed fiveleft leather into a full line of accessories for men and women.

With each new season fiveleft leathers unconventional look keeps gaining recognition as lincoln continues to seek for the balance of artistry and business, hand made and mass production.
