The Toyota Vios shown here is actually the same car as the US & Canadian Toyota Yaris. The previous design of the Asian & Philippine market Toyota Vios although not sharing the same interior and exterior designs were based on the US including Guam & Canadian market Toyota ECHO. The previous generation of both of these cars share the same chassis/platforms, engines, majority of parts and other mechanical components. On the previous generation cars, the Vios was slightly larger & low than the Echo
