Work for Saw has been going on for years now, with part of Abbey Lake at Thorpe Park being filled in to create a new piece of land next to Samurai and Colossus. Last year plans were submitted for a new coaster, revealed to be a Gerstlaur Eurofighter, featuring it's distinctive 'more than vertical' drop. Work on the coaster began in June last year with the first vertical construction taking place on September 9th, and the track work being completed on October 5th, an amazing 27 days later. Just over a week on at it was revealed that the new coaster would be based on the popular horror movie franchise - 'Saw', something nobody was expecting. It will be the worlds first horror themed rollercoaster and is dubbed to be the worlds scariest ride.

I love this ride, but i hate dummies and i am easily scared. I always take fast track. I am going again, so do you suggest i take the main queue if it is short?

Best ride ever ( well in england) beats alton towers with thirteen anyday to be honest i think if thorpe park had more land it would out do alton towers anyday

No way nere as scary as Fight Nights stuff. I find X::/ WTF more scarier.

Yeah stealth broke down when i was there too.. luckily i got to go on it before it did.! It was closed for the whole day then, ridiculous!

(its not been running this year at all, Thorpe's main web site shows all the rides that are closed)
