President Obama wants to pursue immigration reform this year

At the press conference on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, President Obama was asked about
his strategy for immigration reform this year. He gave an in-depth response and added, "I see the process moving this first year, and I'm going to be moving it as quickly as I can."

Those illegal immigrants who works their butts off are also in that occupation in place of a legal citizen who can't find work and also has children and family to support. Even more that citizen has to pay taxes while that illegal immigrant doesn't. @megarational you have to spend some to get out of a recesion but its where it gets spent that impacts the economy for ALL and not just a few RICH and wastefull corp.

its to late now but if the PEOPLE got some of their own money to spend it consumes goods so goods have to be made then people WORK to make them in turn gives them more to spend on goods and so on and so forth

@damoparman Banks & financial institutions are no longer on the verge of collapse & financial system reforms have been passed to avoid the "too big to fail" scenario in future. The domestic auto industry is again healthy. The rise in unemployment, which developed during the Bush term & continued to about Oct. 2009, has leveled off.

However, jobs are the last to return after a recession.

It's a horrible situation, but the last thing the country needs is the GOP sol'n of "tax cuts for the rich".
