AD&D Session 00: The Preparation

This video is just something we threw together of us finishing characters and other stuff before we start playing.

Yes we live in the south.
Yes we talk like hicks, or at least i do :)

These games will be 1st Edition rules. We originally had four players but recently we lost our Wizard due to scheduling issues which sucks because he is a great player and my best friend. I think we ended up deciding I would run an NPC Wizard for the group.

We have a few weeks before I actually start the games, I am still working on the world map which is a home grown campaign world, and I still have to find a solid adventure to run them on. I have a good idea what it will be but I still need to sit down and hash it out.

These videos are nothing more than footage we put together from our sessions, nothing more. We are not trying to impress anyone, we simply are sharing what we do with others. I do ask if you want to flame, take it somewhere else please.

hey, just wanna say that I play a very simular game called vampire, just like this game except with vampires and it's modern day, but now that I have been watching these videos of DnD, I am actually starting to like it, I actually wanna play this now, any tips for a new guy like me?

@mml30339 actually yea, don't let the real world get in your way like it has mine. Bring those friends together and have fun. That is the main thing, as long as your all having fun, then it's all worth it.

I grew up with 1st edition we always stole stuff from the other books and then forced it in too first edition rules

1st Ed is by far the best. They can keep 4th edition. I really would love to see more 1st edition videos on YouTube.
