11 guidelines on how to become a youtube partner:
The rules:
1) Know your audience
2)You create original videos suitable for online streaming. Essentially you need to make your own original and creative videos, because google will eventually put advertisements on it. This means that you cannot steal videos or upload stuff that you don't own.
3) You own or have express permission to use and monetize all audio and video content that you upload -- no exceptions (unless you are artist of that audio)
4)You regularly upload videos that are viewed by thousands of YouTube users. (means that you need to anti-up your video views and channel views). 13,000 channels views and 230,000 video views is the bare minimum. It can be done by uploading videos constantly
5)You need to live in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Ireland, Germany, France or Brazil. Other countries, you do not qualify
6) Have to over 50 videos (most videos must be longer than 30 seconds)
7) Your video quality has to be quite good (this will help increase the number of views)
8) Your account has no warnings against it (basically don't post anything that Youtube finds offensive)
9) The subscribers obtained must be at least 200-300 subscribers for a bare minimum
10) No swearing is permitted in videos
11) Must set up a google ad sense account before even applying to become a partner

Hi Jon, me again, Youtube wants me to be a partner, but I am under 18. So if I were to use my dad as a person to make revenue, and then switch when I turn 18?
