An ambient space documentary that I created, set to one of my favorite pieces of music: the 40 minute, 7 part "Chronos" by Michael Sterns.
Note: No voice-over or text has been added while creating this documentary. It is intended to be a personal experience. The parts should be watched in order as follows:
1. Evolution
2. Ascension
3. Spaceship Earth
4. Space
5. Nature
6. Man
7. Return
Note: These videos do not reflect the book by Clark or the album by Mike Oldfield!
@vortical911 Some scientists suggest that this GW is part of a natural cycle earth goes through, we may how ever be excelerating it or effecting it by our pollution and industrial activities.

Now the brainiacs are converting millions of acres of cropland into fields for growing ethanol from corn, then burn fossil fuels to harvest the ethanol, expending more energy & pollution to extract the fuel than you get from the fuel itself! Unbelieveable! Meanwhile, most sit back & proclaim this is a monumental achievement & green victory all the while unleashing dangerous spikes in global food prices which will result in food shortages & rationing around the world. Unbelieveable Insanity!!!

We will perish. The few who see the things as they are and try to make people see are ridiculed. The liars in power don't care for the future. We will perish. And in a thousand years Mother Earth will have erased us from her face completely.. and we'll only be a memory of a bad dream to her.

"The art of LIFE is the art of avoiding pain." (Thomas Jefferson 1743-1826)
Can we do that? Avoid the pain of killing ourselves, our children, and our planet.
For all of us? We can at the very least, try.

Thank you Aetopus. Well put. Millions are suffering and so is our planet.

I agree with Akrid on some points and I agree with Aetopus on some points. I wouldn't call CO2 a "contaminant" at all. Nature thrives on CO2. The Earth could use a little warming up if you ask me. They tell you about those poor little polar bears that are dying because of the changing climate but they neglect telling you how so many other species just love the change. And I do not believe that this "GW" change is being brought on by humans. But we could treat the Earth a little nicer.

A lot more people make money of the global warming industry, researching it, making "changes" to everything, selling carbon credits etc. There is political and economic bias involved. Regardless show me scientific evidence of man made global warming, because eI can't seem to find any. I have no bias, I don't care if turns out we are causing it or not, all I care about is what's true.

Akrid - Those who pretend to guide us, betray us. I have no reason to take the so-called respectable scientists, science advisors, oil cartels, government or alphabet people (i.e, CIA, FBI, NSA,) at face value. They have their salaries and lifestyles to protect.

Oh here it comes the GW myth. Sorry but CO2 does not drive the earths temperature, water vapor, solar flares and cosmic radiation have a lot more to do with that. There is a correlation because more CO2 is produced when the planet is warner, not the other way around. Sorry but the debate is not over, many respectable scientist, even many of ones who are on the "peer review" list disagree with man made global warming. The Earth regulates it self and we make less CO2 than natures fluctuation.

When I watch this video and see the trees being felled like that and mountaintop removal, I FEEL LIKE MY HEART IS BEING RIPPED APART.
I can't help but feel that the human race is now being faced with a choice: either evolve or perish.
