  • I have been a huge fan of this man since the "plays Mac" LP. I have seen him in concert twice and even had the pleasure of meeting the man. He is the best boogie woogie piano player alive.

  • @rustygolden Awesome, must have been very cool to meet him!

  • Haha! He says "thank you" at the end. That's humility. No, Doc. THANK YOU! He's 69. Great. He has to live at least another 20 yeas!! Another hundred years wouldn't be enough. Bloody brilliant! This is so good. Thanks for sharing this video.

  • Unbeleivable; I am so jelious it makes me mad. No matter how many hours I practice I don't think I'll ever be this good :( ... Dr. John, you rule

  • Makes me want to roll my piano down the hill into the creek! I don't think I play like this even in my dreams! Wow! What musicality!

  • A handsome sexy genius, it's so effortless to him, his left hand moves like it's not even part of his body

  • Que genial Dr. John! Incluso es el mismo año que tocó Talk Talk en Montreux! Ese año fué espectacular!

  • I wonder is he using much pedal work here?? The left hand rings out so well yet not to the point that it seems he's using a sustain

  • @kingorthy amazing but true!

  • Pretty good for a guitar player who started playing piano after being shot in the hand!

  • i would give up breathing just to be able to play this just once. He is an uncelebrated master

  • the way dr john plays the piano is just legendary, nothing quite like it!

then comes his voice and your mind = blown, his voice + piano = perfect!
