Sounds like you know alot. I have this car and I put gas in it every 2 weeks. It gives me 515 miles on a full tank. If you don't own one its best not to speak.

LOL @ all the Prius drivers claiming to get better mileage than a Jetta diesel......what planet are you people living on.....diesels have been around for a long time, whereas hybrid is the latest marketing FAD.....lol

and the jetta has a bigger tank so yes you can go more miles that does not prove anything but that you do not know what you are talking about. lol. some people....

how big is your tank due the prius has a 11.9 and the tdi tank is like a 16 or 17 so yea it will go more on one tank but you get a best 40 mpg i 50+ mpg all the time your TDI is crap and can not compare to the prius

I believe the Jetta gets that mileage. I also belive the Jetta's gas tank is 50% larger. Prius gets better mileage and that is a fact even VW will admit.

Hmm... yes ugly, and the prius isn't??? I'll agree that the Jetta is a pretty boring car, but not ugly like the prius, but my Jetta is a standard I don't run air conditioning and one time I drove her down with a friend down the west coast, and she hit around 1100km (680miles) ask any other TDI jetta owner and they got around the same miles even more sometimes, it depends on how you drive but its possible, Diesel 1 - 0 Hybrid

That's funny my 2005 VW Jetta TDI can go around 1200km on a single tank that's about 750miles, once again proving the Prius is crap
