Clearly you misunderstood what I meant, what I was referring to is the tendency, in modern industrialized states, of the number of college educated individuals to far exceed the number of jobs requiring college educated individuals. The U.S. has been experiencing thise. You throw on top of that a recent recession (depression is more appropriate), the outsourcing of many of the jobs there are, and biased ascription-oriented hiring, and the result is a lot of very qualified people getting fucked.
