  • Hey Rob, was this the US or Korean model?

  • @boleary2 Korean model mate! ;-)

  • I love these reviews! Glad to learn more about this guitar. But, i wish you hadn't went into the blackstar amp for these models. They felt a little more "robbed" than other demos i've heard with these models

  • @WillStanleyMusic I promise you I will do another demo of mine using my JCM800 ;-)

  • if the tuning is all digital, does that mean it doesnt matter if strings are actually out of tune? aside from the string tension, would this make any difference?

  • Maybe the camera mic, but also, none of us are there, hearing what he is hearing - we are most probably listening to this through a tinny set of computer speakers. Always best to try one out for yourself.

  • Don't know if its the audio of the camera but the 12 string sounds like warble.

  • Ha, Wanted Dead Or Alive is one of the reasons I started looking at this guitar. Can't justify buying a 12-string or double neck, but playign Wanted with just a 6-string always feels so wrong...

  • more than words to explain this guitar ;)

  • @RobChappers Have you? ;)

  • nice review, btw im sure that was extreme - more than words

  • The acoustic sounds like it is running through an electric guitar amp. This might give people a negative impression of the Variax's acoustic simulator; if you run it properly clean to a PA (not through an electric amp or model of one) then it sounds much more convincing.

  • Doesn't it have a tuner built in?

  • rob, of the 3 variaxes, which did you think felt best to play? you obviously loved the 59s, but did the 69's feel as good to you?

  • sorry it doesnt pass the analysis here mate..tinny..to my ears but keep it up anyway!
