Driving in Iceland - Part III: Road 365 to Laugarvatn and Geysir

This was actually our first unpaved road in Iceland. We meant to take the paved Road 36, but ended took a wrong turn on the shortcut Road 365. I'm so glad we did because it was quite a thrill driving through an eerie, deserted lunar landscape with hardly any vegetation or trees, no cars and the threat of a flat tire at any moment. It was not actually that bad in a 2WD --- pretty smooth, not nearly as bad as Road 711 on the Vatnses, which had so many rocks and potholes.
