River Otters of Mayberry Slough

Here they are again, but a little further away. The are much larger than they appear in the water. Once, while fishing for stripers, I was reeling in a fish and a river otter grabbed it. I pulled hard thinking it was a large fish. Then the otter stuck his head out of the water with my striper in his mouth. Fortunately, when he saw me, he let go.
