I don't know but those are my thoughts on this.

I've heard a few Lyrics sung by Other Iwi belonging to a few Tuhoe Kapa's.

But it nevers sounds the same & it sure doesn't sound good.

So if they just going to kill the waiata or taonga, then they shouldn't use it...
