Just wanna show what a stock 2203 can do without any mods or pedals. This amp works perfect for loud ballsy rhythm guitar sounds and has plenty of gain for any rock or punk style of music.

because of your demo, when i planed buying amp, i decided to go for jcm 800...and found one from 1981 :) ...that amp is the best amp ever - period....and because of that i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart !

I have an old 1978 2203 that I bought when I lived in England. I haven't used it in years due to electrical problems, but I may just dust it off and start trying to get it up and running now.

I've got a 1960 BX cab and thinking about trading my JCM 900 Hi Gain Dual Reverb 100w in on a JCM 800. I've been testing my new cab and head set to low mode 50w instead of Hi mode 100w due to AX + BX cabs recommended power brake if half stack..... stack is ok at 100w amp head... Too bad the 800 doesn't have the power mode feature.... Now, once I find a killer deal on a 800 it's gonna force to buy a AX cab to accompany my BX cab. Nice sound w/o mods or pedals brother... Peace
