In this lesson, we add a little bit of "hammer on" to the blues scale we have been working with.

  • Okay. I've got the picking techniques down. Do you have any advice and/or techniques that can help speed up my playing?

  • @SpudStimson Sure :) Practice your butt off! Seriously, pick some scales/patterns that you can play as a loop without stopping and start playing with a metronome. Find the spot where you can play it clean and then start bumping up the metronome. The further you push it, the faster you'll get.

  • thats a great sound...you should make a jam vid just to show your style and how you use your licks in a song...

  • @barkazzaz Thanks for watching :) That's a good idea. I'll plan to record something when I shoot my next batch of lessons.
