For anyone wondering about the legalities of private ownership of firearm silencers (suppressors), this is the video for you. I've addressed several common myths and misconceptions about silencers and laid out the basics of how to legally purchase them so you can join in on the fun!

They are legal to own in the following states: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY

Welcome to the world of NFA toys!

This is my first YouTube video and I was under the impression that I was limited to 10 minutes. I had a lot of info to cram in there. Apparently, the limit has been raised to 15 minutes now?

Too bad, because I edited out about 4 minutes to get it under 10.

I guess that means more useful info in the next video. Keep checking back... I'll make more! Thanks.

  • In CA, you would have to earn your FFL and SOT licenses to be able to play with NFA items like suppressors. Why don't you ask Dianne Feinstein why she doesn't believe that the 2nd amendment applies to you as a private, tax-paying citizen and resident of CA . I'd like to know...

  • You have great informative content. Thanks 4 the info

  • @xFyLxARMORY Thank you for watching and commenting.

  • @MrNCSILENCER I live in LA if I ordered a silencer from NCsilencer would y'all be able to ship it to me or is it the law that I would have to pick it up?

Or could u ship it to my local fire arms dealer?

  • @USARangers2616 I assume "LA" means you're from Louisiana... not Los Angeles. Because if you lived in CA, you'd be SOL. If you were to order a silencer from me, I'd have to transfer it to an SOT dealer (more commonly known as "Class 3") dealer in LA. That dealer then takes care of the paperwork, and does the final transfer... on a Form 4... to you. And you'll have to pay that dealer a transfer fee. So, it's usually better to just buy silencers from dealers in your home state.

  • do you have a list of states where you can buy them ?

  • @weinermanmanweiner Good call... thanks for the heads up. I should have indicated that somewhere. You can legally own silencers in the following states: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY
