This is quite helpful but I feel it's the type of thing that makes plumbers look like master engineers. I've just drained mine with a spanner, a pair of pliers, 2 bowls, a bucket and some rags . I'd probably do it this way if I were doing it at somebody elses house but I've just took mine off in about 4 minutes, including the draining.
