The Fence - Geoff Thompson - Clip 1

Reading articles by Geoff has really helped me in real life situations that I never expected to come accross when I was reading his articles.
The fence is simple yet excellent I now see why Geoff says its so important.
Probably saved my life once and definitly saved me from getting a very very seriously beating.
I thank God for people like Geoff Thompson

it was through geoffs writings that I started to grapple back in 93.A real groundbreaking instructor in those days,some martial artists still dont get it..I actually thought watch my back was terrible though,sorry geoff.

Still he is a fighter not writer.

hes a writer now exclusively,over 30 books .He has completely moved away from fighting.I just thought that book was very poor,one worn out joke to the next with what seemed like boasting about how violent he was in between.I am a big fan of his current attitude I must say.

its good to see a bit of reality. most of these karate and kung fu fighters have never actually been in a fight.
Geoff is definatley one of the best instructors ever.

biomechanics and strategy, you can think of chi as another aspect of biomechanics, whereas this stuff, blind spot techniques etc would be strategy, both supplement eachother though
