If you're facing kidney failure, dialysis or are doing dialysis, or you're a caregiver for someone with renal failure, this is a must know.

  • I have added this onto my site's forums as I used to be on PD and a girl who originally posted your web address is currently on PD. I am in Canada. She is in the USA. Do you deliver all over North America? What about all over the world? Thank you. - Angie

  • I'm doing my research on PD...I lost my graft and I don't want another one so I'm looking at this. I'm just worried abut doing taekwondo with one...even though all the doctors say it's ok

  • Hi everyone I'm new also in PERITONEAL DIALYSIS is anyone can give me some advice what should I do cause sometimes I don't understand myself. I'm livin here in JAPAN

  • @angieskidney Thanks so much for this video, it helps a lot!!!

  • @Yomalex3 No problem, I am always have been and always will be willing to help people on dialysis and those going on dialyis, and to answer questions on dialysis. Yes, I have had a tranplant, but I will never forget those still on dialysis, it was and will be again in the future a large part of my life.

  • @Birdman283 I'm very glad to hear you got a transplant :) ty for your insight :)

  • @Yomalex3 I've done both. The tube and the fistula are both unattractive. I prefer haemo because you only have to do it 3 times a week for 4 hours instead of every night for 8 hours or 4 times a day. The diet and fluid restriction is more restrictive on haemo though. You are more likely to get infections on PD. But PD is better for your life expectancy. PD tends to last only 5 years on average. There are pros and cons. I was 19 when I went on dialysis I have since had a transplant.

  • I have been on periotenal dialysis for near three years. Visit me at dialysis-do-or-die
