On their fourth album, BS&T 4 (1971), for the first time since their first album, Blood, Sweat & Tears presented a repertoire of songs composed almost entirely from within the group. Included on the album is a cover of former member Al Kooper's "Holy John (John The Baptist)"
These were all fantastically talented musicians. I don't think Bobby Colomby ever got enough credit for the way he drove this band with his playing. I'm a guitarist and he's always been my favorite drummer.
