Written by Rajendra Krishan, recorded for film "Jahan Ara" in 1964 but was taken out of the film. This ghazal has a little extra music added by Sanjeev Kohli for clarity. I have it's original version on a disc released by Music India(formerly Polydor) in 1981 titled "A Treasure Revealed - Musical Memories Of Madan Mohan". This would be the best combination of Madan's love for Sitar, Sarangi, Violins, and Tabla.

but ofcourse, his voice has something noone could ever have, actually it's my dad who commented on it, but i also admire talat, especailly " aay maira dil kahin aur chal" from movie "daag" dilip kumar, this is my favourite old song, and yes youth also like old gold songs, i'm 23, thanx

i really admire your passion and thanks for coming to my pages and listening to these sogns, who no one can understand. these talat's songs are my pearls like favorite numbers.. people dont listen such voices and poetry now a days. but it's really marvellous.
