Train Festival 2011 DVD Preview

Come along with us on this 86 minute DVD as we chase the Nickel Plate 765, the IRM's Nebraska Zephyr, and Iowa Interstate's two QJ type 2-10-2's during Train Festival 2011.

We first chase the IAIS pair of Chinese steamers hauling a double headed 7000+ frieght train out of Iowa CIty toward Rock Island. We also cover the Zephyr's fairy move from IRM to the Quad Cities preceding the event. We cover three days of Train Festival excursions including both the 765's and CB&Q 9911A's mainline runs to Bureau, IL, and action around the Quad Cities involving both QJ steamers and the former IC&E frieght action around Davenport.

The DVD concludes with a chase of the NKP 765 across the TP&W system the day after Train Festival as the elegant Berkshire makes its way home to Fort Wayne, IN.
