This is a simple phrase...I bet you Garcia was given a blank rhythm track and told-"Play all the way through it"
This is exactly what it sounds like to me. Anyway, he has that great ROUND Sho-Bud tone guys...I hope this gets his ideas across to you. thanks for watching...Mickey

  • hey dude you rock

  • just learned the intro for this

  • nice job Singpilot- nice Emmons too.

Pedal Steel blows my mind- you guys that can play it- I have all the respect in the world for you. Its such a different beast than guitar.

Can you play the Wheel? Now that would be a mind blower. That is absolutely my favorite pedal steel of all time. great job- great info- keep up the good work!

  • wow this is so good....sounds just like the way jerry garcia played it on the track version with crosby, stills and nash

  • "somewhere up north" wouldn't be New England would it? Probably got my friend Tommy Cass's fingerprints on it in the course of re-furbishing? I still own Tommy's first Emmons, in Rosewood, back when you could have "any color you want, as long as it was black" O;-) You made my ears smile, thank you.
