I know that when people resort to name-calling, labels, and vague accusations, they often have personal frustrations that are hard to express, so ideas come out in a vague way. I'm wondering if any of the frustrated sounding people here would like to talk more about what's happening in your life. That would communicate something real.

As far as the xenophobia comment here. I think the american dream should be available to all, and becoming an american should be easier, but with all the mexican flags around, I don't think so many want to be american. then why do I have to pay taxes for the schools they attend, streets they use, etc. When they don't pay any taxes?

@Aprilmax010 - I know what the "slaughter rule" is. I was calling out the fact that it's not being used and the right-wing media has been flat out telling bald faced lies about congress using it. Furthermore republicans again show their hypocrisy because In the last Congress that Republicans controlled, from 2005 to 2006, Rules Committee Chairman David Dreier used the self-executing (Slaughter) rule more than 35 times. Congress is taking a straight up or down vote not the Slaughter rule.... YET!
