Vintage Betamax VCR

I Picked this betamax VCR from the trash and took it home fixed it up and recorded Perfect Strangers onto a beta tape. It is approperate to put that show onto beta. The VCR is connected to my 2008 Insignia 15" LCD TV! How lucky to get a betamax VCR in good condition.

You should also try to find one of the high end Beta machines with the Hi-Fi sound and all. They were pretty good. My late father had a Betamax in the 1980s but when VHS won the format wars the Beta machines stopped selling and the parts supply dried up. As a result, when his Betamax stopped working (as anything mechanical will do eventually) and he couldn't get it repaired he got out of the video tape hobby. Too bad too.
