In front of his family, friends and his adoring L.A. fans, The Golden Boy, Oscar De La Hoya gave his retirement speech and bid farewell to his life inside the ring. It was a very classy affair and it was the perfect way for De La Hoya to say farewell. Pound4Pound was on hand and we got everything Oscar had to say from the podium. It's something every true boxing fan must see.

Oscar had a great and amazing career, but even so oscar was robbed of 3 wins. Against trinidad which was one of the biggest robberies of all time, in his rematch against Mosley and against Floyd Jr. Oscar should only have 3 losses and not 6.

Oscar de la Hoya was a great fighter. This guy fought the best from 130-160. He had courage and has been really the American Dream. Born poor, followed his dreams won gold in the Olympics, world champion in 6 divisions and now promotes young talent. An example to all latin people that no matter where you from you can make it if you work hard. Hot wife too, Millie is gorgeous. I apreciate what he did for boxing as he fought everybody there was, won some and lost some. Thanks Oscar...

oscar is my fav fighter ever because he fought great fights with great opponents. None of this ducking crap like 'cough' mayweather, just straight up fighting. Even though he didn't win all his big fights hes still a champ and thats why hes so great to many people.
