  • The tag of this video post indicates "12". Should it instead be "13"?

  • @couchjordan Yeah sorry I got em backwards when uploading, they were mislabeled from where I got them

  • If there has ever been a better television series than this, I sure can't think of it. Even though it is obviously dated in its production, its message and ability to inspire wonder and gratitude for the work of others, and our place in the universe, is undiminished. Carl Sagan spent time deciding what information about our civilization should be sent aboard the Voyager spacecraft into the ocean of space. If it were up to me, I would send 'Cosmos'.

  • One of the most inspiring and thought provoking series in cosmic history.

  • omg, Carl gets so sad!! Noooooo :-( Stupid nukes

  • Aye

  • I nominate Carl Sagan as the spokesman for interplanetary contact, and leader of the world, All in favor say I

  • Thank You for this video. I first watched this around 10 years old and I've only just realised, while re-visiting this, how much of an effect Carl Sagan has had on my whole character and world view, at a very fundamental level! Although my career path has been very different to science - I'm a chef - it has always been an interest. My son however has become a scientist, and I couldn't be prouder! You should hear some of the geeky father/son conversations we have, haha! Thank You Carl Sagan

  • @atomixfang I agree with that.

  • @ReligiousZombie I agree North Korea, USA, China and Iran should watch Cosmos. Look at us 15 years later after Carl Sagans all 4 countries mentioned here are threatening to do Cold War 2. and we are letting Defense contractors or arms dealers make money off of nuclear weapons.

    Beethoven's 7th, 2nd movement

  • Every religious idiot in the USA and the middle east should be forced to watch the entire Cosmos series. Maybe, just maybe, a few of them would learn something, and cease their pointless hatred and violence.

  • Totally random but everytime Carl says "human" it makes me think of Seinfeld..

  • Every human Being should watch all the episodes of cosmos
