Sanghyang Jaran or Kuda Lumping Dance in Bali

This dance is danced by a possessed male who danced like a horse. He usually dances on a scorching and burning coconut fruit. When the song Sanghyang guides the dancer to the fire, he would dance on the fire. I watched and recorded this performance in Batubulan, Bali. It was a really scary and amazing show.

in bali, sang hyang jaran dance is very sacred,some use it for commercialism,but it's a big no for the essence of it. btw, it's really different from kuda lumping dance.
