Um, no....it's not. While I agree that the mind can have a powerful effect on the body, homeopathy has nothing to do with the placebo effect. I have neither time nor space to regale you with all my amazing anecdotes, but if they were a result of the placebo effect, then I vote we throw out drugs and all take placebos! Wow....my babies must have had powerful minds! How is it that someone who doesn't understand that what they are taking is supposed to heal them can experience the placebo effect?

Homeopathy is a placebo. In SOME cases placebos alone can have significant results.

I was sad to see that homeopathy was lumped in with Tarot cards and the like, when there have been scientific studies and there is evidence of it's effectiveness! Our family has used it for the past 18 years after our DOCTOR introduced us to it and we have a had wonderful results. My own experiences may be anecdotal to you, but they are true nonetheless. Perhaps you should look further for the studies you desire.

delpuerco, thats not entirely true. there cant be any positive evidence for a lack of something, which is what atheism is (lack of belief, clarified). its the same thing as trying to prove a negative, which believers like internetpastortv will challenge non-believers to attempt.

If you believe there is a monster under your bed, will your belief make it real?

The only thing that would be real is the imaginary thought in your head.

Imagintation is a good thing but you have to apply it on the right things to avoid false conclusions.

If Einstein only made up things from his imagination none of his work would had been reliable.

This video begins with a flawed definition of science. There are no "non-scientific concepts".

The word "science" comes from the Latin word "scientia" which literally means "knowledge". Scientific method is nothing more than using that knowledge (science) to predict the future.

Atheism is the most heinous of narcissistic mental disorders in that it locks the person into the prison of materialism and hides the fact that the prisoner has the keys.
