WHat would a pilot do if both engines failed as the wheels left the ground. WOuld his best bet be to put the aircraft down on the remaining land features and hpe for the best. Airport runways seem to short as by the time the aircraft as lifted of the ground all the runway has been used. IF they were double the length it would give extra landing area if both engines failed simultaneous on liftoff

@Semaj448 FS9, which means what to me??? I'm looking for vids of real aircraft. However I am NOT an aircraft boffin who knows all the ins and outs and numbers. @RRTV100 It depends on the engine type mate, the RR Trents open up like the CFM's on the a320 family, whereas the PW and the GW's slide back like most other engines.

I'm not 12 so how would i know what "FS9" is you cock? i have a life, i don't play at being a pilot. one minute you called me blind then asked me to open my eyes?
