From their Gold self-titled debut album in 1977 (which also features the smash Slide), You and Me (released as a single, unsuccessfully) shows the Ohio-based funk band in its full glory thanks to the extraordinary, kick-as talents of vocalist Steve Arrington, bassist Mark Adams, guitarist Mark Hicks and percussionists Tom Lockett Jr and Carter Bradley.

@oholm09 Yeah, I had just graduated high school, and was out for the summer!! 1980, just made me feel a bit older, however if you are diggin' this type of music, you understand this is a time when BANDS were BANDS... I find good stuff in all types of music, but we don't see anyone putting bands together like the 60s - 80s!!
