Blue Destiny Unit-1 By Blayaden, SDGO NA 01/14/2012

Here is one of my favorite units, the RX-79BD-1 Blue Destiny Unit 1. Its nothing too fancy at first glance; B rank Scissors, 4 hit melee, Machine Gun, Chest Missiles, Melee SP...

...but looks can be deceiving! At 50% health, it activates EXAM; and it gains INSANE speed and mobility boosts.

It also has the Veteran Ranger skill, reducing damage from melee attacks.

Overall, a nice B rank unit with only a few flaws. First, all its weapons are shell based- so its an uphill climb against suits with Phase Shift. Second, despite its EXAM skill, it has an unremarkable boost pool. (Not BAD, but not GOOD either) The last problem is mostly with ME, as I like suits with a little bit more RANGE in their attacks (I miss a lot early in the video)

Also, as much as I LOVE the fact that it has a "GM head" (its currently the ONLY B rank GM type unit) I kinda wish the visor would turn red like the BD2 and BD3 do. Ah well.
