@2373muon yeah okay, carter has over 250 more catches, 3000 more yards, and more than TWICE the number of touchdowns as Michael Irvin. Michael Irvin just talked alot and was the the diva of the NFL. It's a shame he got into the HOF and Cris Carter hasn't.

@chuckers40 Lynn Swann made great catches in big games, I believe he is over rated since he only averaged like 38 catches a year and 600 yards. If you do that in today's league you'll be on 4 different teams throughout your career. He was never a 1,000 yard receiver. Johnny Stallworth was so much better than Lynn Swann. It was just that Lynn Swann had the great acrobatic catches in huge games, nothing wrong with that, but that's really all he did.

How could anyone possibly think Irvin was better then CARTER. Irvin couldnt carry Carter's jock strap in a suitcase. Irvin was hald the receiver Carter was. Carter had the best hands of all time and never had elite quarterback and his number destroy Irvins, Almost twice as many touchdowns

Carter did not have speed, he was pure talent, he worked his ass off till he ran the best routes, till he could catch with one hand blindfolded, till he had the best sideline feet of all time. he was a monster in the redzone and he never had Troy throwing to him, further im a big vikings fan i will admit, but Robert was no Emmit, Cris is HOF no matter what the kiss ass panel decides, he should have been in this year, last year, and if hes not in next year, im firebombing canton

@PatriotsPrimeTime Michael Irvin has 3 rings and willed his team to big time victories. Carter didn't. Irvin also suffered a career ending injury and that's why Carter has better numbers.

So next time you bring up stats, tell the whole story because while I like Carter he was no Michael Irvin

Give him Joe Montana and Steve Young and Jerry Rice would be a nobody. Minnesota Vikings home of the 2 best receivers in NFL history and best WR duo in history, and you wonder how Larry Fitzgerald became a top WR. Maybe being on the sidelines with those 2 during those years contributed a little. too bad their god-given talent was wasted by their enormous egos. Those 2 together on the field was just scary. Put that man in the Hall of Fame already!
