So here i am testing my new WideBoy head cam from http://4kam.com .
My first clip of this climb was taken using the standard camera but the nice people at 4kam.com gave me a discount on the wide angled version as it is far more suitable for taking video while climbing.
It just was not possible to see hand and foot placements using the standard camera but this wide angled one is far better. If you are planning on using a camera for this definitely go wide angled.
I expect the standard camera will be good for filming while belaying but i have not tried this yet.
This was my first time using this camera and i did not have things set up correctly hence the black and white picture. This was due user error rather than any problem with the equipment. See my other videos for examples of full colour video.
I quite like the B&W effect so left this clip up.
The climb is great too. It's actually the best bits of 2 climbs. Definitely one for your tick list if you are looking for a hardish but well protected HVS.
