  • No, I believe he died in 1998.

  • Thanks for posting this! I've seen this but not the interview and the quality was so great...They should have let the song go all the way to the end...it was kool seeing everyone waving their hands. t4p!

  • No doubt. This jam was actually penned by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Sad to say a couple of the members of the have passed away.

  • Yeah, the lead singer (TCD - I forgot what disease....leukemia, I think) and the big guy (Mercury - heart attack)!

Great videos alfredo! U got New Jack Swing, mid-80's Hip Hop, NY Hot Tracks, ST clips....all the good stuff (I'm scared of u - lol!!)! Please don't get kicked off tha tube!!

  • You guys may have to give me a heads up on what I can post. I'm still new to this. I put the old bball clip on there as a test and I'm enjoying the responses i've been getting to my posts.

  • 3 MEMBERS OF THE FORCE MDS HAVE DIED. CHARLES "MERCURY" NELSON DIED IN 1995. ANTOINE "TCD" LUNDY DIED IN 1998. DJ DR ROCK DIED IN 1998. MAY THEY ALL R.I.P

  • I Believe This Was A Video Clip From The 499th Edition Of "Soul Train" On April 5, 1986.

  • Love to play this song on piano...one of the best songs ever to play on piano!

  • @Azone01 I think he died of Lou Gehrigs Disease, total shame and he had sucha gorgeous voice.

  • Thank you!!!!

  • rare talent...

  • Actually I was a tenth grader because I think this song was about 85-86.

  • Dang!! That's news to me. I never knew those guys had passed on. Their songs were smooth as hell back in the days. I always thought TCD had that Smokey voice and could have probably made it on his own. I bought their tape when they hit the scene with this jam. I was in the seventh or eighth grade when this song was the jam. Man, I didn't know those guys had passed.

  • the best part is when they identify themselves, tcd and stevie d r brothers, jessie d is their uncle. R.I.P. TCD and Mercury.
