Pakistan calling...to screw britain some more.

THERE was a rather sinister development over the weekend when a foreign country made a deliberate call to its nationals living here, to influence the result of an election taking place in part of Britain.

In Pakistan a leading newspaper, the Pakistan Daily, has called upon Pakistanis living in the North West of England to register to vote so that they will be able to use it in the European Elections. Under the headline Register to vote or this racist BNP man Nick Griffin gets elected, the newspaper makes it very clear that it is trying to assemble a fifth column of Pakistani immigrants which will be able to use its electoral clout to undermine the votes of British people living in the North West Euro Constituency.

The report says:
Pakistan Daily is urging YOU the Asian (sic read - Muslim) commmunity to get into the polling booths at this summers European Elections.
As reported in our most recent edition the far-right British National Party could win its first seat in the European Parliament by claiming just 8% of the vote! And Nick Griffin the leader of the party is standing as a candidate in the North West.
If you want to do something about it and stop the BNP then in the first instance you have to register with your local council to vote.

Hopefully this interference from a foreign country and its attempt to manipulate the result of a British election will backfire, and in effect actually motivate the British people themselves to ensure that they have the vote on June 4th and use it to support the British National Party.
