THE ROCK! haha I love there old paint scheme, I mean the blue one
-
i like it...a shame that the railroad with one of the coolest paint schemes is long gone...

I didn't mean any offense. That's why I said that with Model Railroading you can freelance anyway you wish. Feel free to enjoy your pike anyway you wish.

Its interesting how you modernised the Rock! I had toyed around with the idea but never really followed thru, I guess I just wanted to keep it real. But you did a good job of it, nice imagination on the paint schemes. There's was speculation that the Rock would have went to a black color with a blue "R" logo.

I like the power lash-up!

A good first try, congrats.

For what it's worth. BNSF was not around when the Rock was in operation and Alco FA's were long gone by the time that paint scheme was in effect. Your scale speeds were correct. With the MR hobby, you free lance any way you like. If you want FA's you might want to paint them in the old Red &Yellow or Maroon colors, then run GP9, FA's & E units one time and a modernized Rock the next. I am a ROCK fan and miss the CRI&P greatly. How about some AC415 center cab road switchers?

Yes I know the BNSF was not around when the Rock existed. I do not see where that really matters. The Rock never had AC6000s or C44-9B cabless units either. I model how I want to not how others would want me to or even listen to advice when not asked for.
