Actually her father did not walk away from her: he was one of the persons who were part of her lawsuit. He didn't help her when her sister-in-law, Jane Rochford, charged her with incest! The French king warned her,too.What amazed me was her shock and hurt when he started messing around with other women. Women that help tear down another woman's home with no remorse are always shocked when it happens to them. What he did WITH you,he'll do TO you. I think Henry would've killed her,even if she had a son. She was a political liability at home and abroad. He also had a perfect scapegoat to blame for all of his unpopular behavior.
