The TSO manages to combine classical orchestral elements with rock and metal elements to create a distinct, unique, and beautiful sound. The TSO is known mostly for their Christmas music, as the majority of their albums are focused around it. Two of the albums, the newest ones (Beethoven's Last Night & The Nigh Castle) opt for a more rocky, metallic feel, mostly abandoning the Christmasy feel. Two new albums are in the works, one of them sees an un-recorded and re-edited album from the band's early days finally being able to see the light of day. The other is a rock musical, "Gutter Ballet".
