Light Festival at Little India

Festival of light heats up the Little India, Penang. Many customers have done their last moment shopping with smiling face on them. The Hare Krsna society took the opportunity to set up a booth at the Market Street for the Damodara Puja which they conduct every year during this month. Many of Hare Krsna devotees took part in this event and lights up the street of Little India with Kirtans and Bhajans.

This year Diwali is a special because it falls on Saturday in conjunction of the India calendar this month call Protasi month and this occasion fall every 300 years once.
