The Court of Master Sommeliers has awarded only 158 Master titles worldwide since its inception in 1969, and only approximately 75 of those are practicing Masters today. One of the newer Masters, Cameron Douglas of New Zealand, told his story to the people at Google on February 15, 2008. The successful Master candidate must have an excellent memory for theory, fact, and taste, and have nerves of steel.

  • Excellent.

  • Grande zio.....ragioni come me!!!!!

  • un poco largo pero es un gran video. quite large but it´s a great video.

  • Very informative, however I disagree on the efficiency of Argon gas as Ive found that opened bottles keep quite well for months (and longer), not just days- providing that the bottle is stored upright as the gas will find its way (through the wine and) out cork if laid on side. I use a 60 # (not too heavy to carry) Argon tank with a pressure-reducing regulator from a welding supply store. Refills cost less than $30 (for enough to top off 2,000 opened bottles at less than 2 cents per bottle).
