Sorry to post what is in all likelyhood a spammy comment, but am I the only one who finds it awesome that the "Cartoon Hell" segment was directed by a guy named Joe DANTE?

This scene scared the hell out of me as a kid, but was so deliciously twisted that I kept having to watch it on my old burned out VHS copy! Your work's been a huge influence on mine, Sally. Thanks for the inspiration (and nightmares :-) )

Is this the same Hell Gluey and Max almost went to near the end of "Face Like a Frog"? I hope they did make it to Miami Beach or else they would meet Ethel's fate.

i actually liked the "it's a good life" part of the Twilight Zone movie, but this part was a bit disturbing

Another fun thing to think about is that Nancy Cartwright got the chance to be at the other end of the stick as Bart Simpson (again, the character she voices) gets to parody the kid in one of The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror stories. :D

since Warner Bros. owns the screenplays of the original series (that explains the movie) How about Cartoon Network should make "The Twilight Zone: The Animated Series". It should be about animated retellings of the original episodes or original stories by cartoon directors like Maxwell Atoms, Danny Antonucchi, John R. Dilworth, etc. In fact if you were in charge of doing such a episode, which episode of the original series would you remake in your style?

I actually had no idea you retired from animation. Also if Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network managed to make a series based on Mad Magazine" then sooner or later they should make a anthology series and give it a "Twilight Zone" license on it.

I own one of the animation cels to this sequence. The cel is right after the monster swallows her and before he burps. Beautiful and complex!

@ronniereject Those cels were inked by Mary Cain, who started out at Columbia in the 30's. There will never be cels inked so beautifully again. Lost art and obsolete technique.
