mixed metaphor: real people NOT acting is the way to get real. Or actors scripted to show you're not trying to be real. But real people scripted is a disservice to the donors who found Ron Paul and were sold on YouTube by REAL stuff.
Funny take on the same old boring political video's. Gotta love the internet- I just watched a ManDog discuss the quality of a presidential candidates videos. I don't think I took an LSD tab but hmm...
It would be WAY more effective if he just pieced together quick 2 and 3 second cuts from his own speeches on some spots, then pieced together real interviews with supporters in some spots. All real, no acting, no scripts. The magic all happens in the interviewing and in the edit bay.
Yes. I work in the biz. I love Ron Paul but these ads are completely ingenuine. It all sounds phoney. Use real people and get actual comments then edit into a spot. The problem is the strategy. Ron Paul's strategy is truth, but you've got these people trying to appear unscripted but anyone can tell it IS scripted. So it is the exact OPPOSITE of what Ron Paul's appeal is based on: genuine truth. He should be piecing together REAL comments by REAL people. No acting. It's ingenuine and forced.
