  • hi, does the tip have the same temperature thant the display when it grow up, or there is a later difference?

  • @AIexanderHartdegen

I don't see any sensor outside of tip, so it is not exact temperature of tip, but probably temperature of heating element.

  • Could you please tell the SKU of the tips you've used to replace?

  • @umloginqualquer

You can go on ebay and search for "HAKKO 900M"

You will find a lot of compatible tips...

  • Is it still working good after a year?

  • @Aaron16

    Yes, works just fine.

    I only replaced tips.

  • @renno007 2 Temperature detection by intégrated sensor (thermocouple), this kind of heating element have 4 wires, two for heating element power supply, and two for the thermocouple, they are called " PTC heating (japanese) Element, And 3 "Three in One" all in one integrated tip, who have the best real time temperature indicated (sometimes with this kind of tip, temperature rise very fast).

  • @renno007 I have all this kind of station. I am waiting for a Gordak 940 from Ebay, and it indicated to have Japanese Heating Element, and temperature take 12 seconds for 300°. Your Kada seems to be very nice. All this stuff seems to come directly from Hakko manufacture... Thank you for your response.

  • @renno007 I'm definitely gonna buy one of these stations, I was just wondering if I could get some compatible soldering tips from DX or if I should get them somewhere else. Thanks for the quick reply!
