one day, my dad told me while I was sleeping there was a bat flying around the house and finally the bat went back outside. I should have got a video of it.

I was sitting on the porch the other night and a bat started circling my head and would not go away! I started flailing my arms, to scare it, and screaming (of course) and I touched it in mid air and it flew off. I quickly went inside and washed my hands. I may never go out after dark again. Thanks for the video -- I got to scream some more when it flew at the carmera :)

@cocotan6 Thanks. I'm happy with the way the video turned out. The bat deserves credit for doing so well flying around our dining room and not infecting me with any sort of deadly virus.

Instead of swatting and potentially injuring your pest control (they're built like glass), just get the container first next time, and walk the contents outside. A healthy bat will just fly off. At least you used something soft to fend it off though. Others have used solid objects and acted like they just took down a bear. You two seemed delighted to have the bat visit.

The music is part of my editing program, a component of Smart Sounds musical scoring. It creates a song based on the length of the video. Google "smart sounds" to learn more.
