Different locations are proposed for Dilmun based on the 30 beru being 220 kilometers (132 miles) from (1) Bit-Yakin/Tell Khanasar; (2) Babylon; (3) Ur's "seashore." Dilmun is considered by some scholars as a pre-biblical prototype of the Garden of Eden where a man and wife were placed by the gods to enjoy immortality.
