or hell a 351 HO SVO (My dream engine).. with a 12 gal fuel cell. stanless steal no burst lines?.. what an engine eh??.. but like you said very thirsty .

Dump the stock coil for an MSD blaster ss.

Hotter spark, starts better when cold.

Get 1/2 in. thick conveyor belt.

Cut @ 3.5 in. dia. discs.

Stack them to same height as body mounts.

They work beter than stock mounts.

Must be drilled though.

3/4 in. bolts work better for the body mount bolts.

Fun engine and vehicle.

if i had the money i'd put a Kenne Bell supercharged 351 in mine, love the sound outta the KB mustangs and would love to suprise the hell outta people with one in my truck

Or what id do if i were you, is buy a PowerStroke or NorthStar diesal, both by ford (obviosuly) and came with these years of the f-series, but the 351 HO SVO engines are beastly.
